Instructor:
- George D. Escobar founded Advent Film Group (AFG) in 2007, to create Christian films and train Christian filmmakers. He produced and directed Advent’s first film, Come What May (released in 2009), made with a team of 40 homeschooled students and a handful of industry professionals. A regular film workshop and keynote speaker at homeschool state and national conventions, George is also a producer for Hero, Advent’s second film, currently in post-production. Last summer, he co-directed and co-wrote Alone Yet Not Alone, now in post-production, and is co-producing Red September. He has more than 20 years of experience in film, television, and interactive media.
