This 2-day workshop is ideal for students and parents who are considering film as a vocational pursuit. You will learn the advantages and disadvantages of film school programs. You will know the elements of making and distributing movies from start to finish.

This workshop is also for adults (with film experience or not) who want to switch careers or bolster their media career or ministry toward feature filmmaking.

Finally, you will get a preview of Advent Film Group's upcoming feature film projects and how best to get involved.

REGISTRATION: Your registration fee includes lunch and snacks each day, filmmaking materials and templates to help you get started, as well as a DVD of our first film “Come What May”

You will be responsible for securing lodging and for your evening meals.

COSTS: For the complete 2-day Workshop Package: $249 per attendee; $149 per accompanying parent or guardian. Early-bird cost is $199 per attendee; $99 per accompanying parent or guardian. You must be 13 years or older to attend. Under 16 must be accompanied by adult guardian or parent.  To qualify for the early-bird discount you must register and pay by August 22, 2011.
